How to apply beard oil in 4 steps
STEP 1: Start with a clean beard
Your beard should be clean, towel-dried but still slightly damp from water or after a shower (but not too wet or the beard oil won’t stick). Start by applying a few drops to the palm of your hand. We recommend about 3-6 drops depending on the length of your beard. If you’re a beginner, less, and as you familiarize yourself with the process, you’ll eventually get a good idea of how much you need.
STEP 2: Apply to the skin first
Rub your hands together to spread the product evenly, then run them over your beard. First, you want to press the beard oil into the skin to make sure it moisturizes the roots of your beard and the skin around it.
STEP 3: Apply to the beard
Once you’ve covered the roots and skin, move on to applying directly to the beard. Start at the edges of the beard and work upwards, moving your hands in a downward swiping motion. Brush your hands in a downward, forward, or even swipe motion. Then brush your hands upwards from the neck to cover the underside of the beard.
STEP 4: Finish with a comb
If you have a mustache, use your toweled fingers and swipe them back and forth a few times. To finish, use a comb to evenly distribute the product over the beard until smooth and conditioned.
